C@p Day

posted Jul 12, 2010 2:15 PM by Robert Parsons

The annual C@p Day is this week on Thursday. C@p sites around Nova Scotia will be celebrating this day with their own events and activites. Middle River C@p Site will be celebrating by putting on an open house with various themes. If the weather is good, there will be an instructional session on using GPS and also Geocaching! At the end there will be a scavenger hunt using the GPS's to find a hidden Geocache. All day we will be having Tea and Cookies as well you can stop by for information on Open Source technology. I'll be happy to show you everything you need for your computer. And the best part is you can get it for free! Expensive programs like Anti-Virus and Word processors can cost large amounts of money, but few know that there are other options that are free!

So stop by at the C@p Site this Thursday and I'll show you how to use GPS's, get free software and even what things you need to keep your computer running safely and fast. The Open house will run from 12-6 that day so stop by and show support for your local C@p Site!
