Middle River is a small, rural community, situated in Victoria County, Nova Scotia, Canada, approximately 16kms from Baddeck - home of Alexander Graham Bell.
Population approx 450.

We offer personal retreats, Reiki and meditation courses, and courses in sustainable living and off-grid technology.  Anne Cobham RT-CRA is a Reiki Master Teacher, offering in-home treatments in the Middle River and Baddeck area, as well as a full range of attunement courses from Level I to Master Teacher.  Anne also offers Reiki treatments for animals, including horses, at your location within the Middle River and Baddeck area.
Survival School Canada is a training centre for the art and craft of survival.  We offer a full range of courses from novice to experienced, as well as custom courses tailored to the individual's needs. Paul Cobham SIA-IV is a certified Survival Instructor Level IV, ex-British military background with decades of practical experience.  Courses are held at our location right here in Middle River, with occasional field trips elsewhere.
The Bushcrafter Nova Scotia's first Bushcraft School, set in 200 acres, close to the magnificent Cape Breton Highlands. UK trained and professionally accredited Ian Holt-Jones will be your host - offering courses & personal training in various Bushcraft skills such as firecraft, tracking, shelter building, the use of tools such as knives and axes, foraging, hand-carving wood, container construction from natural materials, rope and twine-making  including making English Longbows, Mukluks, Snow Shoes
